Explore the Potterhanworth Platinum Jubilee Celebrations 2022 below.
Read on for a timetable of events and information on how you can get involved.
We would like to make this event a great celebration of village life and something we will always remember. It's an ideal opportunity for all villagers to get involved and for us to come together as a community.
We need support to setup and pack away the events, man the bars and run various events. If you can, please volunteer and become part of the team.
In the past these events have been a truly joyful time together,
but villagers need to get involved and we would love to hear from
you.
Please contact Nigel Sardeson:

We have managed to make these events free for the villagers in Potterhanworth. We would like to thank the Potterhanworth Beer Festival Committee, the Culfrey Trust, Potterhanworth Parish Council, Christ's Hospital Endowment Fund, the Church, The Chequers, and the Hanworth Park team who are funding these events.
Many thanks.

Potterhanworth Through The Ages
Request for submission of photos
We are preparing a 4-day program for the Jubilee Celebrations from 2nd-5th June 2022.
As part of the activities we want to install a photo exhibition called, '70 years of Potterhanworth 1952-2022', most probably on display in St. Andrew's Church and/or The Memorial Hall. Ideally, we will have one photo from each year since 1952 depicting the events and developments in Potterhanworth over the last seven decades.
We would like to collect photos, with short captions, from Potterhanworth residents. You can either send them electronically (ideally in a high resolution) to Cllr Martin Ott: ottpcpotterhanworth@gmail.com or drop by at Woodlands, Barff Road, where the photos can be scanned and returned to you.
The selection and presentation will be done with the help of our local historian Ian Jackson. We might even produce a small booklet with the seventy photos that could be purchased for a small amount during the jubillee days.
Your support and help are most appreciated!
Cllr Martin Ott (Potterhanworth History Group)
